Refer a Patient for Clinical Neurofeedback in Asheville or Anywhere in North Carolina
Asheville Counseling & Wellness Center welcomes referrals from healthcare professionals throughout North Carolina, including:
- Psychiatrists
- Primary care physicians
- Pediatricians
- Psychologists
- Therapists and counselors
- Psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Physician assistants
- Other healthcare professionals
Patients do not necessarily need to live near Asheville to participate.
Our home-training model allows appropriately selected patients to complete much of their neurofeedback treatment remotely while ACWC provides assessment, individualized protocol development, clinical monitoring, and outcome measurement.
Your Patient Can Remain Your Patient
A referral for neurofeedback does not require transferring the patient's psychotherapy, medication management, or primary treatment relationship to ACWC.
When a patient is referred specifically for neurofeedback, ACWC can focus on neurofeedback assessment and treatment while the referring professional continues providing the patient's primary care.
With appropriate patient authorization, ACWC can communicate relevant assessment findings, treatment goals, and progress to the referring provider.
