At-Home Clinical Neurofeedback in North Carolina
Professional Neurofeedback Without Multiple Trips to Asheville
Patients do not necessarily need to live in Asheville to participate in the ACWC Clinical Neurofeedback Program.
For appropriately selected North Carolina patients, much of the ongoing neurofeedback training can be completed from home.
Following appropriate clinical assessment and development of an individualized treatment plan, patients complete prescribed home neurofeedback sessions while their clinician remotely reviews training data, monitors progress, and adjusts the treatment protocol when clinically indicated.
This model allows ACWC to provide specialized neurofeedback services to patients throughout North Carolina while maintaining professional clinical oversight.
Clinical Oversight Is the Difference
At Asheville Counseling & Wellness Center, home neurofeedback is part of a clinician-directed treatment program, not a stand-alone application or self-guided brain-training service.
Our clinical program may incorporate:
- EEG brain mapping
- Clinical evaluation
- Attention and cognitive assessment as appropriate
- Standardized symptom and outcome measures
- Individualized protocol development
- Home neurofeedback training
- Professional review of training data
- Ongoing clinical monitoring
- Protocol modifications based on treatment response
- Follow-up testing and outcome measurement
We currently use the Myndlift platform to support clinician-directed home neurofeedback.
Myndlift provides technology used for home training.
Asheville Counseling & Wellness Center provides the clinical assessment, interpretation, treatment planning, protocol decisions, monitoring, and evaluation of progress.
Based in Asheville. Available Across North Carolina.
Our Asheville-based clinical neurofeedback program may be available to appropriately selected patients throughout North Carolina, including Western North Carolina, the Charlotte region, Triad, Triangle, and other areas of the state.
Because much of the training can be completed at home, patients do not need to travel to Asheville for every neurofeedback session.
